the expanding Communications team that is responsible for telling
the Argo AI story, building the brand, and managing the company's
reputation with internal and external audiences. The Communications
team prides itself on working at a dynamic pace consistent with the
media environment and aligned with our startup culture while
helping establish Argo AI as a leader in self-driving technology
with credible and realistic story-telling.What You'll Do
- Lead the team responsible for development and implementation of
internal and external communications plans to build corporate
reputation, focusing on global news, policy, finance, legal,
product and safety
- Drive alignment with cross-functional leaders including
Corporate Responsibility, People Operations, Public Policy and
Government Relations, Market Operations and Product Development for
company messaging and branding initiatives
- Collaborate with the Strategy, Investor Relations and Finance
teams for investor-focused communications, corporate development
and M&A
- Develop and foster strong media and industry analyst relations
to drive coverage in business, technology, and consumer media
- Partner with market and brand communications, content and
marketing teams to collaborate and align on storytelling
initiatives
- Take the lead on issues management and crisis communications
process preparedness and execution
- Develop and oversee key performance insights on employee,
market operations, social media and product communicationsWhat
You'll Need To Succeed
- 10+ years in communications and/or public affairs
- 3+ years managerial experience
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
is preferred
- Experience in policy and financial communications
- Ability to conduct strategic thinking and oversee tactical
execution
- Solutions-oriented approach working collaboratively across
teams
- Honesty, integrity, respectfulness and perseverance
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Very strong organizational and management agility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage
high-pressure crisis situations
- Strong people manager with demonstrated experience leadingNice
