seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of
Technical Accounting and Reporting to join our team as a critical
interim resource as a fixed term contractor. This position will
play a pivotal role in managing our Private Equity Management
Incentive Plan (MIP), driving technical accounting conclusions, and
leading ad hoc financial projects. The ideal candidate has a
proactive approach to problem-solving, possesses a strong
background in US GAAP and SEC reporting standards, and thrives in a
fast-paced, multi-task-oriented environment. This is a
high-profile, hands-on role that requires the ability to work
independently and interface effectively across all levels of the
organization. What You’ll Do: Equity & MIP Management: Lead the
accounting and administration of the Private Equity Management
Incentive Plan (MIP). This includes overseeing equity accounting,
tracking vesting conditions, and managing calculations for
stock-based compensation expense (ASC 718). Technical Accounting &
Research: Research and document the Companys technical accounting
issues. Prepare high-quality technical accounting memos on complex
transactions (including debt, equity, and M&A) to support
management conclusions and audit requirements. Financial Reporting:
Assist with the preparation of the monthly close and the Companys
private company financial statements. Audit Coordination: Present
and resolve the Companys positions for critical accounting issues
with external auditors. Coordinate the review of filings with
auditors, inside/outside legal counsel, and the disclosure
committee. Policy & Compliance: Assess and implement new or changes
to US GAAP. Draft and update Corporate Accounting Policies as
needed throughout the engagement. Ad Hoc Projects: Lead special
projects as assigned by leadership, which may include system
implementations, process improvements to align controls with
business risks, and support for strategic initiatives. Your
Qualifications: Education & Experience: B.S./B.A. degree in Finance
or Accounting. Minimum of 7–10 years of total experience, with at
least 3–4 years of Big 4 public accounting experience required.
Certification: CPA highly preferred. Technical Skills: Strong
technical accounting background with expert knowledge of US GAAP
and SEC reporting standards. PE/Equity Experience: Specific
experience managing Equity/MIP programs for Private Equity-backed
companies is a significant plus. Soft Skills: Excellent written and
oral communication skills. A proactive approach to problem
identification and remediation. Work Style: Ability to work
flexibly and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Must be
meticulous with superior attention to detail and capable of working
independently to complete work in a timely manner. Work Location:
Work from our Mountain View, CA office, hybrid role with 3 days a
week in office. Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of
labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies
based on defined markets. The standard pay range for this position
across the U.S. is $70 - $100 per hour. Pay varies by work location
and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or
