a row! The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for preparing
shipping documentation and coordinating shipping arrangements with
customers and drivers. The individual will be working closely with
the production, sales, and shipping department, assisting and
handling the needs of internal and external customers. The Shipping
Coordinator's skills should include but not limited to
organizational skills, computer competencies, accuracy, customer
service, and effective communication. Benefits offered to all

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ability to learn and work in ERP Software Print
packing slips and cross-check with computer software to ensure
accuracy Prepare and print shipping labels/delivery tags
corresponding to shipping needs Coordinate with company driver or
outside carrier and schedule shipping for each delivery Ensure
drivers have their overnight driving schedules Ensure delivery
schedules are coordinated with the customer and communicated in a
timely manner Track and coordinate truck service and maintenance
Maintain driver paperwork/logs. Logbook experience is not required.
Maintain a clean and safe work area. Maintain reliable and
consistent punctuality and attendance. SKILLS & ABILITIES
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills necessary to
facilitate difficult situations Strong time management and the
ability to respond promptly to customer needs Strong communication
skills, both written and verbal Computer literacy with ability to
learn new computer software programs Maintains professional,
friendly demeanor Exhibits strong organizational skills Capable of
conducting independent research Anticipate and adapt to change
without losing focus on goals PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position
requires sitting for long periods of time; however, some filing is
required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing
cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position also
requires walking in the shipping and receiving area. Researching
missing items, or items that need to be located to make deliveries.
WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in an office environment. This
role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers,
phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Some time is spent in
the plant walking in varying temperatures. All Weather
