• Please note, this is a 6 month co-op opportunity running from January to June 2023 for those currently enrolled in a Bachelor's level degree program and are able to work full-time for the duration of the co-op.

  In this role, you will support the Executive and scaled programs team in Marketing. This role will be responsible delivering the event execution for a series of programs in our Americas marketing organization. Programs will include webcast, online events, event series and roadshows, and VMworld ancillary programs. It is fast paced environment with room for exponential growth!
  Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over these 6 months you will work toward completing?
  
  • Learning how to navigate work environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Delivering programs, that extend your real-life experiences while apply your existing skills
  • Developing skills over the 6 mos co-op such as communication of programs, building effective presentations, delivering fun and exciting presentation, evaluating and analysis programs.
    The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
    
    • Execute programs including webcast, online events, event series and roadshows, and VMworld ancillary programs.
    • Create and define the follow-up progress to continually engage customers
    • Communicate with stakeholders and align with business priorities to drive impact.
    • Support entire program lifecycle from planning, feedback and collaboration loop to execution of pre, onsite and post program management.
    • Operationalize programs and events in thoughtful execution, in close partnership within the team, program owners, Field Marketing and other stakeholders.
    • Drive continuous improvement and bring to the table fresh ideas to drive the most impact in our program initiatives and events.
    • Execute and report on execution of assigned budget. Tie spend against outcomes.
      What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
      The director for this position is Lauren Margrave. Lauren has over 15+ of experience in IT marketing, specially 11 years at VMware. Lauren believes that collaboration, radical transparency, continuous feedback loops and creating psychological safety are the key to building a strong team
      Where is this role located?
      Remote: this role is remote and can be done anywhere in the United States.
      For New York City based candidates the hiring range for this position is typically $24.84- $24.84. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
