The person we are looking for will be responsible for providing
technical support for our clients. The majority of the workday will
be spent on the phone and email, using our state-of-the-art
remote-access and network management technology to help our clients
with their computer problems and/or questions. You will be tracking
trouble tickets through our client management system and will
escalate tickets to our senior level engineers when needed. Where
you will work will vary from the V&C Solutions office, the
client site, or your home, based on your manager's discretion.
V&C Solutions is completely responsible for many companies'
computer network systems - Your responsibilities would include:
- Provide support working alone and with the V&C Solutions
team to solve all computer network needs for our clients.
- Provide support for all incoming help requests (phone, email,
- Troubleshooting network, and desktop problems.
- Installation & upgrade of software, hardware, and other
- Assisting end users with usability questions and issues.
- Verify daily backup status. Creating a high level of customer
satisfaction through accurate timely follow-up, strong technical
skills, good customer communication and relationship building.
A minimum of 5 years working experience in IT.--- Excellent
communication skills (both verbal and written).--- Patience and
enjoys interacting with clients (end-users).--- Excellent attention
to detail.--- Self-motivation.--- Excellent punctuality.---
Professional appearance.--- Desire to make a difference.--- Must be
self-starter possessing drive and ability to work with minimal
supervision--- Ability to work as a team member.--- Ability to work
under pressure and tight deadlines.--- Microsoft MCP. MCSE and/or
other certifications are a plus.--- Must have at least 2 years
experience using imaging technologies like Symantec Ghost, Acronis,
etc.--- Strong knowledge and experience of Windows 7 and Windows 10
installation and upgrades.--- Solid understanding of Remote
Computing technologies--- Strong knowledge and experience with
desktop & laptop maintenance. Patching, disk clean-up, etc.---
Strong knowledge of the installation, maintenance, and support of
anti-virus and anti-spyware tools. Must be able to quickly remedy
infected computer systems.--- Strong knowledge of desktop and
laptop hardware. Must be able to troubleshoot issues and recommend
a solution and then install it.--- Good understanding of TCPIP as
it relates to installing and supporting Desktops & Laptops. For
example: Setting to static IP, DHCP, renewing IP, Windows Firewall,
and other basic IP fundamentals.--- Good understanding of desktop &
laptop security principals.--- Good understanding of email clients.
Including Microsoft Outlook.--- Must have a working knowledge of
configuring Microsoft Outlook Office 365--- Good knowledge of
Microsoft Office applications. Must be able to recommend, install,
maintain, and support these applications. Experience with
SolidWorks is a plus--- Experience with recommending, installing,
and supporting network printers.--- Basic experience with adding
and removing workstations from a Microsoft domain.--- Experience
adding users, changing passwords, and email addresses in Microsoft
Active Directory.--- MAC experience is a plus.--- Experience
configuring VPN client's.--- Understanding of Windows profiles.---
Linux/Unix experience is a plus.
