Job Description:

Our client is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to high quality education materials for K-12 students and teachers all over the world. As a leading member of the Open Education Resource (OER) community, our client is using the FlexBook, an integrated set of tools for learning, to pioneer the generation and distribution of high equality educational STEM content. Our client also offers multi-modality learning (read text, interactive learning objects, videos, exercises, lectures, etc.) at the concept-level designed for comprehensive student learning. This means teachers that teachers are given a flexible platform that in turn allows them to design and distribute relevant learning material. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Science and/or Machine Learning with direct impact on business value
• B.S., M.S., or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Machine Learning, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science or relevant quantitative field
• Strong understanding of Generalized Linear Models
• Ability to write efficient code in Python
  • Experience with Hypothesis Testing and Maximum Likelihood Estimation Desired Skills & Experience
    • Team leadership experience strongly preferred The Offer
