Building on some breakthrough developments in sensing, analytics, and the internet of things (IoT), we have exciting new opportunities for senior Test Engineering lead role to support Fibridge, a joint venture between Xerox and VicTrack. You will play a key hands-on lead technical role to develop and deploy innovative optical sensing-based monitoring solution for transportation infrastructures. The technology employs cutting-edge optical sensors, asset models, and advanced analytics to help customers optimize and manage critical structural and transportation assets through the IoT. The ideal candidate for the position of Sr. Test Engineer is a self-starter who can develop and implement test solutions for product development and transfer to manufacturing. We are seeking candidates interested in delivering innovations and results that will make real impact upon the world. Responsibilities : Design, develop, and implement test systems and flows for fiber optic sensors, optical interrogator subsystems, IoT gateway devices, and system-level test and characterization Develop, automate, and document test systems and procedures for product development, validation, and manufacturing Generate test plans, create project plan and timeline for test development, and assess project risks and gaps Conduct subsystem and system-level test, verification, and validation Collaborate with product development team to ensure product testability in production Perform GR&R Measurement System Analysis for equipment used for testing Contribute to the development of sensing fiber installation process. Perform test, validation and reliability of the installation process developed Lead the definition and implementation of database management for data analysis, traceability, and reporting. Identify internal and external resources to execute the plans. Write and maintain software for automated test systems for engineering and production use, including environmental testing Contribute to design verification, reliability testing, failure analysis/corrective action (FACA) and manufacturing yield improvement Collaborate with technical and business cross-functional teams to contribute to the development of training material for product field installation and provisioning Guide and mentor onshore/offshore test resources. Help scale test team through mentoring, cross-training, and recruiting Maintain compliance to quality standards and customer specific requirements as applicable Interact with test equipment and service providers Requirements & Qualifications : M.S. or B.S. in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related fields 5 years experiences in test development and testing of products involving sensors and optical and electrical hardware Deep knowledge and successful track record in test and validation of fiber optic based sensing sub-systems or systems.
