reimagine the human journey.Meet The TeamThe Argo sensor hardware
team defines the sensing technology roadmap and ensures the proper
integration of sensors onto the self-driving platform. The sensor
integration engineer plays a critical role in this process. The
sensor integration engineer will be responsible for
characterization, qualifications, validations, and deployment of
next generation sensors. The role requires an engineer who can work
across multiple disciplines including, but not limited to,
mechanical, electrical, embedded software and perception
concepts.What You'll Do
- Manages bench and vehicle data collection hardware and software
stack
- Write scripts to ingest sensors data
- Develop algorithms to infer vehicle dynamics, such as yaw and
yaw-rate
- Work with sensing experts to develop test plans to assess
sensor performance
- Execute bench and vehicle level tests
- Design bench and vehicle data and power infrastructure
- Work with vehicle operations team to gather sensors data
- Work with software team to gather sensors data for algorithms
development
- Work with external entity to integrate new sensing
modalitiesWhat You'll Need To Succeed
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a related field
- Experience working with data ingest for sensing system (radar,
camera, lidar, GPS, IMU, etc)
- Experience working with logging, manipulating sensor data
(radar, camera, lidar, GPS, IMU, etc)
- Experience with robotics framework such as the Robotic
Operating System (ROS)
- Experience with filtering, clustering, image signal processing
class of algorithms
- Comfortable interfacing with hardware with diverse I/O, such as
CAN, LIN, Flexray, MIPI CSI, Ethernet
- Proficient in Python, C/C++What We Offer You
