place.Job Description
- Designs, develops, executes, and tests enhancements and
resolutions to client projects
- Unit-tests code for robustness, including edge cases,
usability, and general reliability
- Provides technical feasibility assessments and scoping for
projects and product support
- Provides architectural support and code review and oversight to
the backend engineering team for customer delivery needs
- Participates in the process of creating standard operating
procedures for Medable's internal work, and best practices
guidelines for our customers
- Leads, motivates, and coordinates teams. Coaches/mentors team
members as appropriate
- Designs and develops advanced applications for the various
platforms (e.g. backend, and web front-end)
- Identifies and collaborates with product architecture and other
areas of the company to determine best known methods for SDLC,
bridging product and customer delivery
- Identifies, creates and establishes standard tools and
processes for integrating Medable's platform with other technology
solutions
- Collaborates with varied stakeholders to define scope, design,
plan, and implement integration solutions with varied
platforms
- Manages multiple, competing responsibilities
- Participates in continuing education and training to remain
current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and
better assist other team members
- Successfully manages multiple complex clinical trial study
projects and high visibility clients, consistently delivering the
highest quality software & services with on-time delivery
- Develops and drives creation of best practices and procedures
related to solution architecture
- Proactively assesses and troubleshoots short term and longterm
issues impairing the overall effectiveness of team and
division
- Other duties as assignedQualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Customer Integrations, backend
development, or a combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture or equivalent
work experience
- Proven software development experience and deep understanding
of the full mobile development life cycle
- Knowledge of interface messaging standards, including HL7,
FHIR, CCD/CCDA
- Experienced in communicating technical solutions to a varied
and non-technical audience
- Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML,
CSS and JavaScript
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS,
React and Amber
- Detail-oriented and results-driven
- Adept at solving complicated technical problems and conversing
with clients
- Unlocks the full potential of other team members that they work
with, and helps them improve all team members performance
- Demonstrated ability to expertly navigate strict timelines,
deliverables and execution plans with patience and positive
attitude
- Ability to learn new skills and quickly adapt to a rapidly
evolving industry sector
- Experience with clinical trials (preferred)Minimum Level of
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related
subjectPreferred Degree/Certification:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related
subjectSoftware Skills:
- Git, Confluence, Postman, Terminal (command line), Node.js,
Javascript, HTML, CSS, JIRA, various IDES, MS Office
