As a security engineer at Telenet Business, you are the technical point of contact for our clients. They turn to you for the day-to-day management of their security infrastructure. What does that entail?

• You are fully responsible for resolving incidents from start to finish (analyzing, researching, testing, documenting, and implementing the final solution).
• You collaborate closely with the international support teams of our vendors (Check Point, Palo Alto, Infoblox, F5, etc.).
• You implement operational changes.
• You provide advice to our clients regarding the management of their security infrastructure.
• You ensure accurate documentation of your actions and interactions with various internal and external parties. MORE ABOUT Our Ideal Security Engineer... is an excellent communicator who collaborates smoothly and enjoys learning new things. You have an adaptable mindset and prioritize the customer. You're eager to dive into cybersecurity and possess analytical and problem-solving skills. You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English. Furthermore, you have:
  • Knowledge and interest in network security and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following vendors: Check Point, Palo Alto, F5, Infoblox. Certification is a plus.
