In the era of parallel accelerator workloads like AI or CFD, every aspect of the chip industry ought to be rethought. Our vision is that chip manufacturing should be reshaped as well as designs. We are doing this by making defect-tolerant chips to allow fabrication engineers to ignore yield. In the old era this would be unthinkable! By making yield irrelevant, we will enable Moore's Law to keep going by adopting roadmap technologies faster. We will start by partnering with existing foundries, but our long term goal is to become an IDM in the 7-10 year horizon.Responsibilities:You will turn the formal specification of the block-level architecture model into an RTL-level (micro-)microarchitecture. This will involve understanding the architecture and its goals as well as dealing with the realities of the physical aspects of the chip.Qualifications:Proficiency with RTL or equivalent low-level HDL understanding of computer architecture as well as the basics of how logic synthesis and physical design works, to achieve better PPA.
