Base Pay Range: $149,000.00 - $253,300.00Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLAKLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits identified below. Apply to this posting for Future Opportunities with KLA.KLA is seeking a motivated individual with a growth mindset for a senior engineer position in a world-class algorithm group within the reticle product division (RAPID)

• The individual would develop algorithmic solutions for image modeling and processing from requirements gathering, concept formulation, prototyping, to productization
• Identify technical bottlenecks. Balance sophistication and computational complexity through comprehensive data analysis
• Engage directly with systems, optics, sensors & HPC teams to co-optimize algorithms along with other sub-systems for the best overall system design
• Work with marketing and applications to meet projected industry needs.Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD or MS in EE, Computer Science, Applied Math or related field
  • a PhD degree with minimum 3 years of relevant industry work experience or a MS degree with minimum 6 years of relevant industry work experience
  • Significant experience in image processing, machine learning, or deep learning for imaging application
  • In-depth understanding in modeling of imaging systems (optical or electron beam)
  • Good knowledge of computational optics and high-performance computing
