As a Sr. Network Security Engineer working in a local TTEC office with flexibility to hybrid work from home, you'll be a part of creating and delivering amazing customer experiences while you also #experienceTTEC, an award-winning employment experience and company culture. What You'll DoLooking for an opportunity to be a part of a highly technical team of skilled employees focusing on all aspects of the Network and Security infrastructure supporting our global presence? You'll have operational responsibility to support the Network and Security technology verticals, including Implementation, and Operational support. You'll manage the ongoing operations of all the company's Security Infrastructure elements, including firewalls, IPS, web proxies, switches, routing and VPN devices. You'll optimize the performance and availability of secure network and end-user infrastructures through the application of best practices such as troubleshooting, maintenance, new client implementations, performance monitoring, and recommend appropriate course of actions and methodologies to achieve success. You'll mentor more junior employees; help develop the latest in network topologies and advance our network and security to the next level. You'll report to the network and edge security sustainment service managers ensuring that TTEC networks are the backbone of our operations, and the secure boundary of our company. During a Typical Day, You'll

  • Monitoring vendor interaction with company's network and edge services/devices; identifies issues and provides guidance/support through to resolution. Ensures the timely delivery of required services.
  • Maintains and liaison with equipment manufacturers' and other vendors' support teams to ensure satisfactory support levels and resolution of issues.
  • Assisting in the maintaining and implementation of company's technology operations, including goals, priorities and policies relating to company's information and compliance management.
  • Manages the ongoing support and configuration of all elements of the company's data network, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, proxy, and circuits inventory.
  • Lead technical support staff in maintaining efficient operation of Companies information and communication systems.
  • Implements and maintains data network devices to provide for the 24x7x365 availability of the technology environment.
  • Exceptional documentation and communication skills in English. What You Bring to the Role
  • Flexible person with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments and requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-cultural, customer-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work days, evenings, and overnights; with weekends and after-hours on-call as required; 24x7 support.
  • Requires a minimum of 5-6 years' experience in the network and security engineering.
  • Proficient working knowledge and implementation skills of Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, NextGen firewalls, SourceFire, IPSec/IKE/SSL VPN devices and associated technologies.
  • Working knowledge of WAN Protocols including but not limited to MPLS, SD-WAN HDLC and routing protocols including EIGRP and BGP.
  • Advanced understanding of LAN routing and switching such as load balancing, ACLs, NAC, 802.1x, dot1q, dot1x, and logical & physical network segmentation.
  • Working knowledge of Hybrid Cloud IP Routing, networking, and Quality of Service technologies with demonstrated implementation in a large enterprise organization. (GCP or Azure)
  • Mid-level certification or equivalent experience with GCP, Cisco, Palo Alto or industry standard. (GCNE, CCNA, PCNSA, SSCP or equivalent work experience of 4-7 years). What You Can Expect
