Company:Qualcomm ChinaJob Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Hardware Applications EngineeringGeneral Summary:Job Overview:The Customer Engineering (CE) team assists customers with customizations in boot, power/performance, and stability across various technology areas, supporting product launches from concept to commercialization. The resource will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Marketing & Sales, Software Development, and System Design to bring Qualcomm products to market. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate should be motivated to learn, eager to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and possess a customer-focused mindset.Key Responsibilities include:

• Supporting Auto Infotainment and ADAS customer programs, including schematic/layout reviews, training, and escalation management.
• Providing end-to-end system engineering and debugging support for customer issues, field returns, and launch-critical problems.
• Engaging with OEMs on current and next-generation development platforms, participating in design architecture discussions, and supporting pre-sale activities.
• Supporting auto-infotainment use cases, including trials on development and customer platforms.
• Building strong customer relationships (OEM/ODM/Tier-1/2) and actively participating in technical project execution.Minimum Qualifications:At least 3 years of industry experience in:
  • Auto Infotainment, Mobile, and Panel (PC) products/markets.
  • Wireless (e.g., BT/WiFi, GPS, 4G/5G), embedded, or hardware technical skills for troubleshooting customer projects.
  • Knowledge of JEDEC standards such as DDR, SD/eMMC/Flash, USB, PCIe, MIPI, and Audio I2S/PCM/TDM.
  • Experience with EDA tools like Cadence, PADS, Mentor, etc.
  • Basic software skills to understand and modify code for verification purposes.
  • Proficient in English communication.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with Qualcomm Auto/Mobile platforms.
    • Previous experience in automotive embedded development is highly desirable.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, high motivation, quick learner, and self-starter attitude.
    • Good software debugging skills such as JTAG and MCU compilation.
    • Proficiency in Buck/BOOST power design and PMIC power management is a plus.Educational Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
