Job Description:
Duration: 12 months contract Job Description: We are seeking a
skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician
to perform set-up, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and
repair of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems at the
system level. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a
strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and
the ability to work independently and collaboratively across
functional teams. Responsibilities: Perform set-up, calibration,
functional testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and
electro-mechanical assemblies at the system level. Interpret
blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical
specifications to determine and develop appropriate test and
troubleshooting methods. Execute system-level testing and rework of
assemblies based on test results. Prepare technical reports
summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical
problems. Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test
equipment and fixtures. Perform daily assignments with minimal
supervision; handle new tasks with general instructions. Provide
work direction and technical training to peers, as needed.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in various
locations. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in
electro-mechanical assembly, system-level testing, troubleshooting,
and repair. Proven experience testing digital and/or analog systems
and components. Proficient in the use of Oscilloscopes, Digital
Volt Meters (DVMs), and other test and measurement instruments.
Skilled in handling fine adjustment tools, torque wrenches,
calipers, and other precision instruments. Ability to work in
cleanroom environments. Strong organizational and time management
skills, with a logical approach to problem-solving. Excellent
verbal and written communication skills in English. Capable of
working independently with little supervision and taking initiative
in resolving technical issues. Willingness to work extended hours,
including weekends, as needed. Physically capable of standing,
sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Skills: Electro-mechanical Assembly Cleanroom environment LabView,
Linux and MS Office suite software knowledge. Oscilloscope
experience Fine adjustment hand tools, torque wrenches and
calipers. Education: Technical Certificate, associate’s degree, or
military technical training in a relevant discipline. BSEE, BSEET,
or equivalent engineering degree preferred. About US Tech
