Competitive salary ($95,000–$120,000 for Design Engineer 2) Comprehensive benefits including 401K, profit-sharing, and generous PTO Career development through hands-on learning, mentorship, and continuing education A culture that values collaboration, curiosity, and respect A mid-sized company with a family-like atmosphere and open-door communication Convenient Union City location, accessible from throughout the Bay Area Job Details Responsibilities - Perform engineering calculations for HVAC and plumbing systems Design piping and ductwork systems using Revit and AutoCAD Select appropriate system equipment to meet project requirements Develop HVAC control system designs and perform commissioning and performance analysis Collaborate with fabricators, installers, programmers, and other design/construction trades to ensure seamless execution Participate in cross-training and support collaboration within the engineering team Contribute to project documentation and ensure alignment with company standards and timelines Must Have / Background - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within HVAC or plumbing Familiarity with Revit or other modeling tools and proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong understanding of engineering principles including fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and psychrometric analysis Knowledge of building codes, plumbing codes, material specifications, and system sizing Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and organizational abilities Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Interested in hearing more?
