job responsibilities As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical you lead
the building products and services in a growing and dynamic space.
Leveraging a background in product innovation, execution, and
analytics, you will identify forward thinking scalable solutions,
and advocate for products across the organization. We work to
develop software products that facilitate the planning, production,
distribution, sales, and returns of Amazon Devices, guiding leaders
and partners on strategy and prioritization. - Lead the development
of the consumer-focused product strategy and vision supported by
internal and external analysis - Define creative, high quality,
simple product roadmaps based on customer learnings, team strategy
and vision - Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user
stories that can be used to create product specifications and
software architecture, based on knowledge of customers, devices
business and supply chain processes. - Manage prioritization and
trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational
support load - Create buy-in for the product vision both internally
and with key external partners - Partner with engineering teams and
program management to deliver products - Drive product launches
including working with stakeholders and executives - Proactively
identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s
ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals A day in
the life As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical in Device Operations
Technology and Software (DOTS), you will work in a team of Program
and Product Managers who own a group of products, working closely
with business partners and engineering teams to execute delivery of
new tools, systems, and features. DOTS team has a singular mission
of delivering software and business solutions for Device Ops &
Supply Chain (DeviceOps), while building scalable infrastructure
that rises to the challenges of tomorrow. DOTS team will leverage
its expertise in science, data engineering, business intelligence,
and UX design to build product strategies that bring optimization
and efficiency to the DeviceOps business functions. You will lead
the development of various supply chain applications, including
Townsend which is Amazon’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
solution that will provide its hardware and device development
teams (Devices and AWS organizations are the lead customers) a
comprehensive solution to manage finished good, assembly, and
component data from concept to obsolescence. About the team Device
Operations Technology and Software (DOTS) is a multi-disciplinary
team of Product Managers, Program Managers, Data Engineers, Applied
and Research Scientists, Business Intelligence Engineers, User
Experience Researchers and Designers. We take an end-to-end
perspective of the software needs of Device Operations, and ensure
that solutions address the needs of the entire organization, and
solve both the challenges of today and tomorrow. BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving
roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery
and tradeoffs of a product - Experience contributing to engineering
discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a
product - Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of
critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level
prioritization and planning PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience
in building and driving adoption of new tools - Experience
delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are
responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through
GTM (go to market). Prior experience in managing technical products

the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base
pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest
geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic
market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market
location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
