in Engineering or equivalent experience. -10 years in build
planning, manufacturing, or NPI execution. (5-8 years is okay)
-Strong technical and operational leadership skills. -Experience
with contract manufacturers and supply chain processes. -ERP/MRP
systems expertise (SAP preferred). -Ability to travel (~30%) mostly
local to Northern California Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Proven leadership and accountability mindset. -Fast executor with
strong decision-making under ambiguity. -Excellent cross-functional
communication and collaboration. Job Description A typical day as
an Engineering Build Planner starts with reviewing build schedules
and ensuring alignment with product milestones. You’ll lead
cross-functional meetings to confirm readiness, resolve issues, and
keep builds on track. Throughout the day, you’ll manage prototype
requests and PCB orders in SAP, coordinate with supply chain and
contract manufacturers for material readiness, and update
dashboards for real-time visibility. The role is highly
collaborative and fast-paced, requiring proactive problem-solving
and clear communication to deliver builds on time and with the
right quality. -Own planning and execution of engineering builds
(prototype ? production). -Align schedules with GTM milestones;
manage changes and impacts. -Lead Build Readiness and Execution
meetings; resolve issues quickly. -Manage prototype requests, PCB
orders, and SAP entries. -Partner with supply chain and vendors for
material readiness. -Track milestones, risks, and delivery
commitments; maintain dashboards. -Drive continuous improvement in
planning models and processes.
