Job Description:
At US Foods, a leader in the foodservice distribution industry,

nationwide, by ensuring that our fleet of trucks are always
operating at optimal levels. We are seeking an experienced Diesel
Technician to maintain and repair our diverse fleet of
transportation vehicles, focusing primarily on diesel engines. This
crucial role directly impacts our mission by enhancing fleet
efficiency and reliability, ensuring that we continue to meet our
commitment to deliver excellence to our clients. Perform routine
and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers
according to company standards and procedures. Diagnose and repair
malfunctioning vehicles and equipment, including engines,
electrical systems, and hydraulics. Maintain detailed records of
services and repairs conducted on each vehicle. Coordinate with the
logistics department to schedule maintenance and repairs to
minimize service disruption. Stay current with new technologies and
practices in truck maintenance and repair. Comply with all safety
regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software used in vehicle
maintenance. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet
deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

driver’s license. ASE Diesel Certification is highly preferred.
