facility in Sunnyvale, CA has an immediate opportunity for a level
3 Manufacturing Support Team Member/Make Part Planner to join our
mission ont the NGI program. To be successful, you will need to
have have experience using an ERP system as well make planning
experience. Strong analytical problem-solving skills and experience
with conflict resolution will be advantageous. This role will
require you to be organized with exceptional attention-to-detail.
It is expected the successful candidate is experienced with MS
Office software, has excellent communication skills, and is a
self-starter. Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will… -
Ensure parts & materials are available in stock to start planned
orders - Coordinate readiness actions with support organizations -
Cut production orders/make sub orders for material kitting and
issue from stock room to the floor - Confirm standards are
populated and work centers are correct for release - Ensure orders
are fully kitted and assist in ZAPL reconciliation as required -
Respond to production assistance requests IAW expected production
center timeframe - Review and mitigate exception messages (e.g.,
ECONs, MMR, 20s, 52, 13) - Process return to stock weekly, or as
directed, to reconcile parts in the assigned MRP code with surplus
inventory and inventory with no demand - Maintain ROF (Retained on
Floor) inventory with 95% location accountability monthly, or as
directed to ensure ROF audit alignment, and RFID Management if
applicable - Coordinate shipping needs for make parts during the
manufacturing process (i.e., ATS Submissions and ZShippers) -
Understand a high-level status of all WIP in MRP code or assigned
work centers - Communicate critical procurement needs with supply
chain planners (as applicable) - Conduct shop floor material and
expiration date audits on WIP material/production orders, if
required by location, coordinating hazmat locations with ESH as
required - Shelf-life extension for non-inventory items as
applicable - Conduct floor walks, or IAW local guidance, to
understand build flow and WIP - Maintain consumption awareness
using an As Required list in coordination with the ME team, to
forecast needs and coordinate min/max change requests with Buy Part
Planning - Ensure consumable/as required parts & materials are
available and in stock to start production Basic Qualifications -
Minimum 3 yrs experience in operations, production or shop material
control - Strong knowledge of material requirements planning, and
production planning principles - Experience as a make planner in a
fast paced production environment - Proficiency using the SAP ERP
system or equivalent - Experience in using MS Office 365 software -
Must be a United States Citizen and be able to obtain a Secret
level security clearance Desired skills - Active Secret security
clearance or former security clearance - Experience in the defense
or aerospace manufacturing operations - Ability to gather relevant
information systematically, consider a broad range of issues or
factors; grasp complexities and perceives relationships among
issues or problems - Certification or training in supply chain
management or related field such as APICs - Excellent

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits
