When you join us, you'll become a part of this legacy of leading-edge, coordinated and compassionate care.The Director of Web Technologies is focused on helping to set and implement the strategy for Stanford Health Care's various Web properties which includes the following:

• Management responsibility for all aspects of Web technology within TDS
• Manage the Web development team within TDS
• Manage relationships with external and/or outsourced providers of services related to the TDS Web presence
• Partner with business development to help the organization establish/maintain Web and online strategies that support core business objectives
• Design and implement infrastructure and architecture for technologies supporting the Web and portal presences including applications, development platforms, content management systems, directories, web services, and APIs, databases, etc.--
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and vision to a team including Web Architects, Web Developers, Web System Administrators, Integration Engineers, Project Managers, and QA/Tester Analysts--
  -- Standardize the development environment and processMinimum Qualifications
  
  Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Experience: Ten (10) years of experience managing and leading software development using Web technologies in n-tier architecture and complex environments for large software engineering projects.
  • Four (4) years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics preferred.License/Certification: None

    • Ability to adjust communications to fit the needs and level of understanding of the receiver
    • Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions
    • Ability to design, implement, test, and utilize development platforms, content management systems, and other software modules
    • Ability to foster effective relationships and build consensus
    • Ability to provide a high level of customer service and collaboration with various stakeholders
    • Ability to research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards
    • Ability to solve problems and identify solutions
    • Ability to work collaboratively with peers in IT and business partners across the organization.
    • Ability to speak and write effectively at a level appropriate for the job
    • Ability to interpret analytics data and draw insights, report out and present findings, troubleshoot data integrity and data management issues
    • Knowledge and demonstrated experience managing and leading development teams implementing Web applications
    • Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional areas
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSP, Perl, and XML required
    • Knowledge of J2EE technologies (JSP, EJB, Servlets, JDBC), HTTP, XML, DHTML, JavaScript, multi-threaded server development. Solid understanding and experience of JEE application servers
    • Knowledge of new technologies (in a specific field) and the ability to maintain and stay abreast of updates and changes
