The Email Marketing Manager focuses on creating, coordinating, measuring and optimizing outbound and sales email cadences and campaigns using tools like Salesloft and Mailgun.. It is responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns, templates, and cadences that will be used by Birdeye's sales team targeting prospects from a variety of sources, in a range of buyer stages, as well as marketing mass emails sent to outbound targets.. This is an individual contributor role that requires close collaboration with both the sales & marketing teams, plus operational, documentation, and testing methodology and excellence.. Responsibilities:. Help draft and implement new emails, sequences, and cadences for outbound sales & marketing communications.. Monitor and report on outbound email template, campaign, and cadence performance. Continuously review and optimize automated cadences and sequences. Identify content, webpages, and other assets and messages that can be leveraged as CTAs or inform content within emails. Build out industry and persona specific messaging (for example, healthcare vs finance). Test subject lines, body copy, and CTAs. Write, edit and optimize short form text only emails that drive interaction. Scale out learnings from successful emails to other campaigns. Help communicate with and inform sales team on new cadences, learnings, and processes. Builds strong cross-functional relationships within the marketing organization and across the larger Birdeye organization. requirements. Sales or marketing background - SDR/BDR experience a strong nice to have. 3-4 years of work experience, preferably in B2B software. Very strong writing ability. High understanding of email marketing; prior experience using Sales or Marketing email software such as Salesloft, Outreach, Demandbase or similar/other email tools. Metrics and data analytics mindset, & an ability to use reporting to define and adjust tactics. Birdeye recognizes that each team member makes a significant contribution to our success.
