ABOUT THE ROLE The Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Relationship Management, (VPBD, SRM) will be employed by Satellite Healthcare, Inc., within a new strategic division. This new position will report to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) with dotted line reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer of the strategic division, who both in turn report to the Chief Executive Officer of SHC. This role will be required to report on as needed or assigned basis to the corporate headquarters in San Jose, California and may office remotely. The VP will assist the CGO with certain executive responsibilities, supervise one or more Business Development roles, and personally direct market development activities for strategic growth initiatives and key client relationships nationally for the Strategic Division and SHC. This role oversees the identification and pursuit of the following: strategic business opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, and related agreements or evaluation/management of investments in company ventures or entrepreneurial opportunities related to SHC's specific key Clients. In all of these activities, the VP would work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on key client relationships and growth activities. Essential Functions: Executive:

  • Under the guidance or at the direction of the CGO, the VP would represent certain strategic business development needs, lead strategic initiatives, develop, and manage business enhancement projects related to such key clients.
  • The VP also would assist the CGO with certain executive responsibilities to the Senior Management Team and the Board of Directors as requested. Supervisory:
    • The VP may supervise one or more BD or other strategic development positions related to key clients or strategic initiatives.
    • The VP also would work with BD or other roles to develop a comprehensive understanding of the target markets, the dialysis centers, medical directors, local physicians, hospitals, payers and patient demographics. Strategic Division, Key Client Partnership and Market-Specific Development:
      • The VP would direct market development activities with internal and external stakeholders and key client initiative goals.
      • The VP would work with the strategic operations and development teams to drive toward goals and objectives for SHC and key clients. Customer Service:
        • Responsible for driving the Satellite Healthcare culture through values and customer service standards
        • Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers ????????????????????? Minimum Education & Experience:
          • Bachelor's degree required.
          • Ten (10) years of health services corporate development experience. Dialysis industry preferred. Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
            • Ability to travel
            • Ability to act autonomously in a matrix organization with minimal oversight
            • Polished presentation skills and professional demeanor
            • Must be able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities with excellent organizational and communication skills
