The Sr. Partner Incentives Program Manager will be responsible for driving the creation, execution, and management of Cloud Incentive Programs for Channel Partners in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. You will be working with segment and regional sales & marketing owners to develop and implement the program strategy, planning, and infrastructure that incentivizes our Channel Partners.You will be focused on landing key programs that support the cloud consumption incentive lifecycle, including the pre-sales and post-sales incentive structure to drive Partners adoption and scale, project management, and other marketing and sales campaigns. Closely working with key stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Business Units, IT and Operations to ensure a successful execution plan is in place to support and design initiatives to drive company goals. The Sr. Partner Incentives Program Manager utilizes operational infrastructure while working closely with our Partner Go-To-Market Team to plan, design and land rebate incentives for our channel partners.The Sr. Partner Incentives Program Manager is a well-rounded individual who has excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, financial/analytical and social skills. The role requires a consistent track record in messaging/positioning, program management, project management, forecasting, and broad execution capabilities. A requirement is to motivate, leverage, and lead internal teams to accomplish the investment strategy.There will be a balance of strategic process thinking, creative ideas, thinking outside of the box, and "rolling up the sleeves" to resolve tactical issues. You are able to challenge the status quo by demonstrating a willingness to re-invent the current process and policies and adopt change as a challenge.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the programs VMware needs to implement.
  • Identify strategies, designs, and program structures to accelerate and drive Partners to grow Cloud and Cross-Cloud service offerings
  • Develop the landing and execution model(s) that ensure the success of the programs to VMware business globally.
  • Develop the metrics and track those metrics back to the business requirements of the program. -
  • Collaborate with designers to build customer, channel partner, and internal, program documents to clearly identify the benefits, terms and conditions, rules of engagement, and marketing collateral that supports programs globally.
  • Manage the sales, business unit, Go-To Market, and marketing team feedback on the program once launched and effectively implement a roadmap of change that maps to the VMware business requirements.
  • Collaborate to drive the requirements of the systems necessary to support the program and the enhancements to the infrastructure that is built to support the channel partner programs.
  • Drive internal processes and methodologies to evaluate the program execution.
  • Consult with global marketing managers, finance, executives, and sales, to help identify, design, and implement the business processes necessary to implement a successful set of channel partner incentive for VMware globally.
    • BA/BS degree preferred. MBA is a plus
    • 2 years of experience leading Cloud Incentive Programs or SaaS financial Management
    • 15+ years of experience in Partner Programs or Partner Incentives
    • Deep understanding of Cloud Incentives Programs and what levers drives behaviors within the Channel, strategic planning of programs and impact, and familiarity with cloud providers' partner incentive models
    • Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an exciting environment
    • Previous experience in leading cross functional teams and requirements
    • Demonstrated success in project management and process analysis
    • Intermediate skill level in data analysis and use of Excel
    • Excellent organization skills, including ability to lead multiple tasks and projects, and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Previous Channel Program Management Experience
    • Ability to relate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders and executives
    • Extraordinary attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to travel 25% of the time
