As a Product Line Manager of CCSP, you will own and define the common console, customer service onboarding and administration experience. You possess business insight as well as engineering wherewithal to be able to strategize, drive, evangelize and bring your service to market. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? Define the north-star experience and capabilities needed for an industry leading Console experience for customers. - Within 30 days of employment, you will endeavor to analyze, understand the business and technical problems that will help shape the forward-looking experience for customer and start creating user-stories - Within 90 days of employment, you will be defining the feature roadmap, mastering user stories and building strong relationships with customers, engineering and all the stakeholders involved - Within 180 days of employment, you will be in a strong place to commence planning and strategizing for the following quarter for your feature area, adopting customer feedback and streamlining processes wherever needed - Within 360 days you would find yourself in a position to influence and drive multiple teams toward a common vision and strategy The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Your regular activities may be modified to suit your professional strengths, but you can expect a variety of the following assignments. You will: - Lead and own product strategy, roadmap definition for your area and work closely with VMware customers, business, and internal partner teams to ascertain their needs and convert them into compelling e2e user-stories - Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to create engineering requirements to meet the user-stories, and drive the execution of the user-stories across engineering orgs - Define and measure the success of new capabilities in market, and bring in customer feedback to constantly improve the product and drive growth in KPIs - Be the voice of reason when collaborating with engineering teams through the product execution phases, application development and agile software development process - Influence and drive multiple teams toward a common vision and strategy - Model and drive an inclusive culture and allyship What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? You will report to the Product Management Manager for CCSP overseeing various aspects of the customer experiences for private and public cloud. The team follows dynamic, open culture and encourages to learn from others, teach others and grow along with others being collaborative and courteous. Where is this role located? Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager.
