It's an exciting time to join Rubrik's Global Procurement team as we look to transform and scale our organization to meet the demands of a hyper growth Silicon Valley tech unicorn. You are a self-motivated Contracts Negotiator responsible for maintaining best-in-class sourcing processes and ensuring stakeholders secure quality products and services throughout the purchasing/engagement lifecycle while mitigating risk for the company. Our team manages supplier relationships, reports on supplier performance, and acts as the liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to build cohesive partnerships that drive success.What you'll be doing: Interface with all areas of the business in negotiating supplier agreements for the purchase of indirect goods and services and articulate specific contractual areas of concern. Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing Managers to assess supplier agreements and strategically negotiate with Rubrik vendors Advise on risks and liabilities of proposed purchasing transactions and devise creative and practical solutions to meet business objectives. Provide advice and guidance around legal terms and conditions of supplier agreements to ensure Rubrik receives quality products and services with minimal risk and preferred pricing. Finalize contracts by coordinate and consolidate requirements/provisions from applicable partners (i.e. Privacy, InfoSec, Sourcing Managers, etc.) Develop and implement form agreements, playbooks, best practices and training initiatives for an evolving business. Keep abreast of applicable laws, regulations and industry guidance that impact agreements of goods and services purchased by Rubrik.Experience you'll need: 10+ years of contract negotiating experience with heavy focus on legal terms Team player who can influence peers and customers A results driven person with experience in a fast paced environment Experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of purchase contracts, with strong attention to detail. Experience in enterprise software, with knowledge of cloud-based service offerings and licensing a plus.
