Our products and solutions, provided as part of a subscription-based VMware Cloud Provider Platform, enable these cloud providers to create a variety of native and hybrid cloud services that help end customers extend their data centers into the cloud.Job Role and Responsibilities We are looking for a Senior Manager NPI/NSI, VCPP, Technical Program Management to lead and manage VCPP's program management function. This is an extremely high visible and impactful role. In this role you will be responsible for evolving, managing, and scaling our new product introduction and new service introduction processes. You will be working closely with Pricing and Packaging, Sales, Business Operations, Engineering, product Management and other cross functional teams to continually improve these processes and to drive execution across the product and services portfolio. You will also lead the team of technical program managers to scale and extend our VCPP business. - This role requires deep interpersonal and fact-based decision-making skills while also being very comfortable with ambiguity and making the unstructured structured.At VMware, we have a proven track record of transforming our customers' world for the better.   • Responsible for leading a team of Program Managers in all aspects of Program Management including program planning, execution and delivery performance
  • Provides senior level leadership and oversight to deliver business outcomes and commitments across a portfolio of programs through rigorous scope, cost, schedule, and risk management
  • Create and maintain comprehensive program management reporting, tracking, and executive messaging
  • Manage and measure NPI / NSI process effectiveness and adherence cross-functionally, ensuring adoption and effective execution by product management and SMEs to ensure projects and underlying functional inputs meet scope, time, budget and quality
  • Personally lead NPI / NSI for many key products and services, directly managing timelines, financials, cross-functional inputs and stakeholder relationships
  • Coordinate with and report on multiple product and project tracking instances with a high-volume dependency between organizations and projects in-flight
  • Influence strategic decision making with program/project insights and holistic view across ongoing initiativesRequired Qualifications
    • 10+ years of experience in program management and/or operations
    • 5+ years of experience leading a team
    • Firm sense of accountability, urgency and ownership for the program end-to-end
    • Ability to manage and defuse confrontations and escalations from customers, account teams, and cross-company executives
    • Ability to understand quickly technical subjects and their relevance and priority to the program Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment
    • Superb written and verbal communication skills characterized by technical acumen, clarity, and brevity, including working with product roadmap and program management
    • Ability to work with people at all job levels across a broad variety of job functions to coordinate cross-team projects
    • Demonstrated analytical skills and a natural predisposition toward data-driven decision making, additionally able to make reasoned decisions in situations of uncertainty or imperfect dataEducationUndergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a related discipline required.
