Technical Program Manager, High Voltage Distribution What to
Expect Tesla's High Voltage Distribution team is looking for a
highly motivated individual to manage new/existing vehicle
programs. You will be working hand in hand with design engineers to
bring design concept through protype validation and to production
ramp.This role entails significant leadership and autonomy to
conduct technology development, scheduling engineering builds,
validations, supply chain management, outward-facing
communications, production ramp, and ongoing fleet support.The High
Voltage Distribution team is responsible for efficiently delivering
power between the various components within the vehicle's
powertrain. The team works closely with other groups within the
powertrain organization such as battery engineering, drive systems
and power electronics to develop cohesive high voltage
architecture. By utilizing both mechanical design and integration
skills the team helps bridge the gap between powertrain and vehicle
engineering. The team is also responsible for designing vehicle
chargeports, working closely with supercharger and residential
charging teams. Come join us in pushing the boundaries of

design. What You'll Do - Establish and manage programs feature
baseline, scheduling, critical path, and technology risks areas for
execution. - Cross-functionally communicate key development
updates, risks and timeline on projects as well as presenting to
Tesla Executive team on a weekly basis. - Identify tactical
(exercise operational excellence) and creative ways to overcome
obstacles while meeting deadlines despite setbacks. - Develop tools
to automate various reporting or planning functions for the
Technical Programs Management Team. - Conduct planning and
execution/support of NPI builds. What You'll Bring - Demonstrate
understanding of new product development cycles and criticality of
time-to-market - any time spent on perfecting a design is foregoing
the next big thing. - Ability to grasp complex technical topics and
abstract key issues and risks in an actionable form - Experience in
leading large group of people, and able to remain calm with big
picture in mind in the face of uncertainties - Detail oriented with
strong record-keeping and organizational skills, as well as
excellent communication skills from teams to Executives, both
verbal and written. - Skills with common workplace software (word
processor, spreadsheet, presentation software etc) with the ability
to create and maintain metrics. - BS in an engineering discipline
or equivalent practical knowledge. Masters is preferred, but not

Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are
eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards +
benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors,
including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience. The total compensation package for this position may
also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
