Our client located in Coastal California is seeking a RN Manager to oversee Medical Surgical and Care Coordination Departments within a Critical Access Hospital.BSN is preferred. Board certified in either critical care or medical surgical nursing through ANCC preferred.2+ years of nursing experience within the medical surgical units with knowledge of legal aspects of nursing.They are offering a generous compensation package starting at $130K to $170K+/year.Live and work in a small town which has experienced a slow economic growth within the past 15 years. Great schools, affordable living and a better quality of life.JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the management of the Medical Surgical and Care Coordination Departments. Has 24-hour accountability for the management of patient care, personnel, fiscal and material resources. Coordinates the scheduling of department staff according to patient acuity; maintains and monitors staffing records and statistics. Supervises and leads assigned personnel in day-to-day operation of the department. Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.
