care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to
established standards of care and the nursing process. /nSupervises
and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing
staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing
critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and
independent judgment./n/n /n/nEducation and Work Experience:
/nBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred /nAcute care
facility experience: Preferred/n/n /n/nLicenses/Certifications:
/nRegistered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice:
Required /nBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)
certification: Required /nAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or
Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS:
Required /nPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Healthstream
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS) or RQIPALS: Required
/nCrisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective
Aggression Management (TEAM): Required /nNeonatal Resuscitation
