Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: Electrophysiology Technician ~ Discipline: Allied Health Professional ~ Duration: 12 weeks ~40 hours per week ~ Shift: 10 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Electrophysiology (EP) Tech Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 4x10 Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Call Requirement: Rotating nights and weekend calls Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Tech to assist with complex cardiac procedures in a high-acuity lab environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EP and cardiac rhythm management and be comfortable with both scrubbing and circulating duties. Key Responsibilities: Assist with advanced EP procedures: Pulsed field ablations Laser lead extractions Left Atrial Appendage Closure (e.g., Watchman device) Operate and manage EP systems (MacLab, stimulator, ablator) under physician guidance Scrub for cardiac device placements: Bi-ventricular devices Leadless pacemakers Left bundle branch leads Circulate and set up Carto and Ensite mapping systems Ensure documentation accuracy and equipment readiness Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrophysiology Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related field Minimum of 4 years of EP lab experience Demonstrated competency in EP and cardiac device procedures Certifications Required: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or ARRT/CRT with Fluoro (RHF) ACLS (AHA) Epic charting experience preferred Valid state license required at time of submission Must be able to complete lab work within 3–5 days of signing Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (locals accepted at lower rate) Additional Details: Only one holiday request off will be approved Travelers may float to other CPMC locations if census is low Orientation includes required online learning modules Return staff policy: must be gone at least 1 year to return as traveler Job ID 16632128 About Genie Healthcare Genie Healthcare is one of the fastest growing Nurse Travel Agencies in the USA.
