Now Hiring: Travel CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Registered Nurse Location: Palo Alto, CA Important: Applicants must reside 50 miles or more from zip code 94305 Schedule: 13 weeks, rotating 12 hour shifts (start times 0630, 0845, or 1045) Key responsibilities: • Creates and maintains a climate conducive to healing through being present to the patient and family, identifying and managing discomforts • Mobilizes the patient's strengths and abilities towards participation in recovery and control over plan of care • Learns and utilizes the available technology for communication, documentation, and locating information regarding unusual clinical situations, diagnosis, and treatments • Contributes to the knowledge and skill of other members of the nursing staff through one or more activities such as formal or informal teaching, participation on Shared Governance groups, professional publications and/or presentations • Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years’ CVOR experience, preferably in Level 1 academic medical centers • Ability to scrub cardiac surgery is a plus, but not required • On Call is required with a 30-minute call back time (16-20 hours per week plus 16 hours of weekend on call in a 4 week period) • Active RN License in CA • AHA BLS certification required • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred Adecco Job ID US_EN_99_020282_2449435.
