Orthopedic Surgery Clinic - Edmond, OK This role is for a Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) in an orthopedic surgery clinic, where you
will deliver patient care under the guidance of Registered Nurses
(RNs) or other authorized personnel. Your duties will encompass
coordinating patient care, ensuring professional accountability,
and obtaining necessary certifications such as Basic Life Support.
The position involves physical tasks, including lifting and
assisting patients, and offers avenues for professional advancement

Utilizing the nursing process, you will provide patient care under
the supervision of individuals licensed by a State regulatory board
to prescribe treatments or under the direction of a Registered
Nurse (RN). You will maintain accountability for the care provided
to your assigned patients and coordinate patient care in
collaboration with various departments. Position Overview: Minimum
Qualifications: Education: Completion of an accredited practical
nursing program; equivalent educational experience and successful
licensure may also be considered. Licensure: You are responsible
for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license in the state
where you will perform nursing duties, adhering to all State Board
of Nursing requirements. Experience: Open to both new and seasoned
LPNs. Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the
American Heart Association or successful completion of the course
within 30 days of hire. Note: Depending on the specific position or
unit, additional certifications may be required or must be acquired
within a designated timeframe, including: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac
Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) PEARS
(Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E.
(Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And
Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules Other
unit-specific certifications as necessary Physical Requirements:
The role requires standing or walking for most of the shift, along
with considerable bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and
turn patients with assistance. You should be able to push, pull, or
