Job Description Job Description Flexible RN Position - Per Diem/PRN - St. Louis and Nearby Areas This opportunity is for a versatile, per diem Registered Nurse at various hospitals in St. Louis and its surrounding communities, featuring multiple shift options and incentive pay. The RN will deliver direct patient care across diverse specialties, including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women's Health, while upholding professional nursing standards and ensuring patient confidentiality. Overview: The nursing process will be utilized to deliver patient care effectively. The RN will maintain professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients, assess the overall effectiveness of care from other caregivers, and coordinate patient care in collaboration with various departments. Position Details: Facility: Hospitals in St. Louis and Surrounding Areas Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flexible/Float Shift: Multiple Shifts Available JoinOurTeam Incentives: $40/hour plus Variable Shift Incentives W-2 Employee Status Minimum of 12 hours required every 90 days Maximum of 30 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday) Options for 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts Flexible Shift Incentives Work on your own schedule! Position Overview: Are you looking for a flexible, incentivized Registered Nurse role? You can choose between day or night shifts based on your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift commitments. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires a commitment to scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and being adaptable to last-minute shift cancellations. Please note that the Gig Nursing Program does not guarantee shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations. Departments Seeking GIG RNs: Behavioral Health (BH) Emergency Department (ED) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Medical-Surgical (MS) Women's Health (L&D, NICU, M&B) Facilities/Locations: St. Louis Hospital - St. Louis, MO Jefferson Hospital - Festus, MO South Hospital - South St. Louis County, MO Washington Hospital - Washington, MO Lincoln Hospital - Troy, MO Perry Hospital - Perryville, MO Southeast Hospital - Cape Girardeau, MO Stoddard Hospital - Dexter, MO Qualifications: Required Education: Completion of an accredited registered nursing program. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the state of employment and meet all state board of nursing requirements. Experience: A minimum of one year of recent bedside RN experience is required for Medical-Surgical roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), at least two years of recent, specialty-specific bedside RN experience is necessary. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic software. Certifications: For Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health - BLS certification required. For Critical Care - BLS and ACLS certifications required. For Emergency Department - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Additional certifications may be necessary post-hire. Physical Requirements: This position involves the ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly. It also requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift, as well as the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill job duties. Why Join Us?
