Job Title: Mammography Technician Profession: Radiology /
Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of
experience required License: Must hold a valid state license
Certifications: CRT, BLS, ARRT in Mammography preferred Must-Have:
Must be willing to work weekends, weekdays, and some evening
shifts. Epic charting system experience preferred. Description: The
Mammography Technician will perform various mammography procedures.
Candidates should be proficient in 3-D mammography, diagnostic
mammograms, and digital mammography. Experience with Hologic 3D
technology is preferred. Knowledge of isolation precautions and
universal precautions is essential. Candidates must understand
radiation safety protocols. Willingness to perform needle
localizations and stereotactic biopsies is required. Flexibility in
scheduling is a must, with weekend shifts as needed. Excellent
patient care and communication skills are necessary. Collaboration
with interdisciplinary teams to support patient diagnoses is
