End Date: 05-25-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type:
Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM days and 7:00 PM - 7:00
AM nights), primarily nights coverage noted; schedule includes
12-hour night rotations, 2 weekends per 4 weeks, and coverage of
approximately 2 out of every 3 major holidays Hours per Week: 36

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Provide expert ICU care for
critically ill patients, managing complex conditions like sepsis,
DKA and GI bleeds Manage ventilated patients in collaboration with
respiratory therapy and monitor ventilator settings Administer and
titrate vasoactive medications such as norepinephrine safely and
accurately Perform advanced IV skills and coordinate parenteral
nutrition (PN) care when needed Interpret telemetry strips and
respond to arrhythmias and cardiac events Implement the ABCDE
bundle and other evidence-based ICU practices to optimize recovery
Float to telemetry and med-surg floors as needed while maintaining
full patient assignments Document thoroughly in Cerner and
communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Qualifications
Active RN license eligible for practice in California Minimum 2
years of recent ICU nursing experience Current ACLS and BLS
certifications required; NIHSS required CCRN and basic critical
care course strongly preferred Demonstrated competency in
ventilator management and vasoactive medication administration
Strong IV skills and experience with PN and critical care infusions
Comfortable floating to telemetry and med-surg and managing full
patient loads Proven ability to chart in Cerner or similar EMR
systems Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing
Diploma accepted; BSN not required Knowledge & Skills Critical care
assessment and complex patient monitoring Ventilator basics and
collaboration with respiratory therapy Telemetry interpretation and
cardiac care (PCI experience a plus) ABCDE bundle implementation
and ICU best practices Management of DKA, sepsis, COPD
exacerbations and post-op ICU recovery Safe administration of
sedatives and vasoactive agents (Propofol, versed, norepinephrine)
Strong IV access skills and familiarity with parenteral nutrition
management Effective interdisciplinary communication and crisis
