A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students across multiple educational settings in Modesto, CA. This role provides essential therapeutic services to help children develop skills necessary for effective learning and participation in school activities. The position involves working with approximately 60 students throughout five different schools within the district. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the individual needs of school-aged children. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). - Conduct assessments to identify students needs and track progress. - Provide interventions to support students motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities in the classroom environment. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements. - Participate in team meetings and contribute professional expertise to enhance student outcomes. Qualifications and Experience: - Valid Occupational Therapy license appropriate for school-based practice. - Experience delivering occupational therapy services in school settings. - Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 students dispersed across multiple locations. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and IEP processes. Work Schedule and Location: - Full-time, 40 hours per week. - Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. - Work sites include five schools within the district, requiring travel between locations in Modesto, CA.
