Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ambulatory Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care / Pre-Op PACU Santa Rosa, CA ? Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) Specialty: Outpatient Pre-Op / PACU We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Ambulatory Care and Pre-Op/PACU to join a dynamic outpatient surgical team in Santa Rosa, CA. This role involves providing pre-operative and post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. Job Responsibilities - Perform pre-operative patient assessments and review patient history and physical documentation. - Prepare patients for surgery by administering pre-op medications and education. - Monitor patients during Phase I and Phase II PACU recovery following anesthesia. - Administer and monitor procedural sedation and analgesia, including narcotics and reversal agents. - Assess and manage pain, vital signs, and post-operative complications. - Provide discharge instructions and follow-up communication to ensure continuity of care. - Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. - Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards. - Float to Main PACU when needed.
