Job Description This established and well-respected multispecialty group near Napa, CA is seeking a board certified/board eligible Obstetrician and Gynecologist. The group consists of 150 clinicians (roughly 100 physicians and 50 APPs/other professionals) which has been caring for its residents for over 100 years. Physician owned and operated. Incoming physicians will be a pre-shareholder for the first 2 years, then they are invited to become shareholders. The shareholder contract is evergreen. Each shareholder owns 1 share; everyone is equal. Only an hour to Napa and a two-hour drive to the Lake Tahoe area takes you to the highest concentration of ski resorts in the country, with record-breaking annual snowfall and views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains. About the Position: - The OBGYN Team is currently comprised of 2 physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers. - We are planning to add 3 physicians to the practice - Call: 1:5 (utilizing OBGYN locums until fully staffed) - Laparoscopy, minimally invasive, hysterectomy skills required - Willing to prescribe contraception - Able to perform tubal ligation and insert IUDs - Performing slings for mid urethral incontinence (TVT/ TOT) a plus - Preferably ultrasound viability scan experience (not anatomy scan) - 50% Obstetrics / 50% Gynecology - Average 20-25 patients per day - High Risk pregnancies, have access to MFM in Sacramento - High Risk are transferred to a higher acuity center at 35 weeks. - Oncology and Uro-gynecology are referred out - Cerner EMR - APPs take second call for C-Sections, but do not assist with GYN surgeries. - Patient population: lots of diversity- from migrant workers to college professors - Additional language skills a plus: Spanish, Punjabi, Farsi, Mandarin - Patients admitted to Woodland Memorial Hospital - Group has a Hospitalist team who manage inpatient care for regular admissions Opportunity Perks: - Employment with 2 Year Partnership Track - Salary guarantee of $396,300 for 18 months - Productivity Model (WRVU) Starting month 19 - Sign on bonus $85,000 - Student Loan Assistance of $100,000 - Relocation of $20,000 Paid to Physician - Call stipend for second call - 6 weeks’ time off first 2 years, 8 weeks starting year 3 - Medical Malpractice & CME Allowance - Benefits include: - 100% of Medical, Dental, Vision Paid by Practice - 401(k) - contribute day 1– matching after 1 year - PSLF Site About the Hospital: - Not-for-Profit faith-based Hospital - 105 Bed Acute Care Facility - Designated as baby-friendly - Family Birth Center with private spacious suites, labor tubs, and free Doula services - 24/7 access for support person, with comfortable overnight sleepers - Options for pain management, skin-to-skin bonding, and access to lactation support services - Birthing Center - 7 LDRs - No NICU- sick babies are transferred out - Hospital is in the process of purchasing a robot - No elective terminations .
