Exciting Locum Opportunity for OB/GYN Physicians in
Coastal California Join a dedicated team at a reputable regional medical center in
Santa Cruz, California, providing essential OB/GYN services to a
diverse, underserved population. This locum tenens position calls
for a compassionate and skilled OB Hospitalist to cover 24-hour
in-house hospital calls. You will play a critical role in
delivering high-quality care alongside a collaborative team of

coast. Opportunity Highlights Practice Setting and Clinical Scope This position involves working within a well-established
inpatient program, focusing on deliveries and providing
comprehensive OB/GYN care. Physicians will handle approximately
60-65 deliveries per month, with a C-section rate of 25-30%. The
role includes monitoring patients on Pitocin and assisting with
C-sections and urgent GYN surgeries when necessary. Schedule and Assignment Details Physicians are expected to cover 6-8 call shifts per month, each
lasting 24 hours from 7:30 AM to 7:30 AM. The position requires
availability starting as soon as credentialing is completed, with
an anticipated need for coverage over a 6-month period. Bilingual
candidates are strongly preferred to better serve the patient
population. Support and Work Environment The hospital provides robust support, including 24/7 anesthesia
coverage and access to an ultrasonographer. The team collaborates
closely with specialists from Stanford and local perinatologists
and neonatologists, ensuring comprehensive patient care. The
facility uses Cerner EMR for efficient documentation and patient
