  • A professionally developed buyer training programJob SummaryFillmore & 5th, a consignment boutique specializing in highly desirable designer and luxury brands, is looking for an Assistant Manager at its store in Palo Alto!Do you LOVE designer fashion and want to work in a fun and fashionable boutique setting? Then this may be the job for you!Our Assistant Managers are motivated and have extraordinary people and customer service skills. You must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work on Sundays and Mondays. One year retail management experience required, preferably in fashion retail, and knowledge of luxury/designer brands.Responsibilities
    • Helping Store Manager with most day-to-day operations of the store
    • Assist in training and developing a positive, fashion-focused staff
    • Reviewing and editing staff time cards and processing payroll
    • Participating in all inventory-related tasks
    • Maintaining operating supplies
    • Giving timely and consistent feedback to team through coaching
    • Assisting in staff evaluations
    • Acting as manager-on-duty on Store Manager's days off
    • Ensuring adequate stock levels
    • Ensuring proper merchandising of store
    • Ensuring safety & security of storeQualifications
      • A background in the resale and/or consignment fashion industry preferred
      • A broad range of fashion knowledge, including brands, designers, and current trends!
      • Experience overseeing the training of buyers and sales associates
      • Knowledge of opening and closing procedures, banking, and making deposits.
      • Experience creating employee schedules
      • Proficiency in enforcing company policies and procedures
