The Role: SAP--SuccessFactors--Service Delivery and Operations (SDO) unit is responsible for operating and maintaining the HCM multi-cloud environment.-- --As an Application Operations SRE Engineer, you will be working on projects that will involve in public and private clouds where our SuccessFactors applications run. You will be collaborating with development, product management and release engineering teams to support multi-cloud initiatives across the globe. You will drive adoption of Cloud Architectures and help implement various SRE best practices.-- Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience required, Master's Degree preferred.-- 8+ years' experience in managing, deploying, developing and supporting large enterprise solutions in private and public clouds such as GCP, Azure and AWS.-- Hands-on experience with industry standard DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Dockers, Kubernetes, Consul, Grafana, etc.)-- Experience deploying and managing massive scale monitoring of containerized solutions.-- Experience in designing and deploying systems to run at large scale and multi cloud environments across geographically distributed data centers.-- Experience with modern CI/CD practices and deployment pipeline design and operation.-- Identifying/Isolate the performance bottlenecks with complex test executions and provides recommendations to improve the performance.-- Devising an overarching security strategy, work alongside engineering and security teams, providing solutions and advice on secure architecture, design, and implementation.-- Experience working in a containerized cloud environment.-- Troubleshooting skills in chef, docker, Kubernetes and other infrastructure providers like--openstack, Azure, GCP.-- Advanced technical background of Linux based server operating systems-- Good understanding of IT security, OS hardening-- About SAP SuccessFactors: SAP--SuccessFactors is at the heart of how best-run businesses make the world run better and improve people's lives.
