The Job: Are you experienced in the backend needs of websites and a
team player? If so, come join our fun and exciting Marketing Team!
As the Web Master you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer
and will be responsible for leadership of the OFJCC's web
properties and e-commerce functions. This includes planning,
creating, enhancing, configuring and maintaining the OFJCC's web
properties, and assuring their security and reliability. You will
provide insight and strategic direction on the user experience,
functional improvements and the future development of the websites
and associated services, and will be the primary point person on
security, storage, and development, including the relationship with
contracted providers for each of these services. Internally, you
will also works closely with content editors on the Web Services
team who maintain and update web content, and with writers and
designers on the Marketing Communications team.

The Core Duties:
- Maintain and improve the functions and user interface of the
OFJCC's web properties
- Create an attractive, useful and user-friendly website,
including: web design, style, layout, function, navigation and all
aspects of user experience, as well as performance, accessibility,
SEO practices and security across the OFJCC's web properties; and
understand trends and investigate new opportunities in each of
these areas to ensure that the OFJCC's web properties are current
with industry best practices and end user expectations
- Find, diagnose and fix content problems
- Monitor, configure and manage performance of web servers
- Configure and maintain site security
- Monitor site analytics; recommend and implement improvements to
SEO, navigation and landing experiences
- Monitor and report on e-commerce metrics
- Lead and project manage major web initiatives such as website
redesign, platform migration, upgrades to user experience and
e-commerce functionality, integration of e-commerce with the
agency's CRM systems, etc.
The Essentials:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in the management, design,
creation and implementation of professional websites and the
management of web content workflows
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple complex
development projects, maintain deadlines and prioritize
demands
- Motivated, collaborative, communicative and flexible attitude,
an ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of an
organization, and a commitment to gathering ongoing feedback and
making continuous improvements
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly, both
verbally and in writing, and experience in documenting procedures
and standards
- Strong technical knowledge and demonstrated experience in HTML,
CSS, Javascript, etc.
- Strong knowledge of current web design standards and of
cross-browser and cross-device issues and design constraints, and
experience with web design apps.
- Experience with relational databases and solid knowledge of SQL
preferred.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent tools) and
skills at creating and editing graphics
- Knowledge of various web content management systems required;
familiarity with dot net (especially the DNN platform)
desirable
- Strong English language skills required; additional languages
such as Hebrew and/or Russian desirable
