Infrastructure market. The Monitor Group is part of our Core
Platform Group which is responsible for our Core Virtualization
Infrastructure.What you will be responsible forWe are searching for
talented and highly motivated individuals to join our virtual
machine monitor group. - The machine monitor group is responsible
for the CPU virtualization technology in VMware products. You will
have the opportunity to work with bleeding edge CPU technology,
VT-x/AMD-V, interrupt virtualization, memory
virtualization/management, and virtualization of other forms of
compute technologies and accelerators.You will work independently
and as a member of a team of software engineers to design and
deliver features in support of new processors.Skills & Experience
NeededRequiredThis work requires you to possess an understanding of
processor architecture and OS kernel internals, including memory
management, resource management, and interrupt architecture.
Looking for a proven software engineer with a passion for working
on broad systems-oriented problems.Bachelor's Degree or Master's
(strongly preferred) in Computer ScienceExcellent knowledge of OS
kernel internals, including memory management, resource management,
and interrupt architectureMust be an excellent hands-on implementer
with strong C/C++ programming skills in a Linux/Windows
environmentStrong background in computer architectureStrong
software engineering background with a passion for delivering
enterprise-quality softwareDevelopment experience working on
low-level, performance-critical softwarePreferredKnowledge of x86
assembly/architectureExperience in management plane support of
complex applications and services in a virtualized (Java or x86) or
container-based environment.Familiarity and/or development of
Confidential Computing technologies including Intel SGX/TDX and AMD
SEV.This job may require the candidate to travel and/or work from a
