they will do:Design, build and implement Product cybersecurity
solutions within the vehicle focused on the safety, security and
privacy of our customersCreate solutions that balance features with
Product Cybersecurity requirements to reduce riskDevelop new
security controls leveraged on vehicle including communication
protocols and patterns within ECUs, sub-systems, vehicle platforms
and their connectivity to Rivian Cloud systems supporting
development and customer vehicles.As a key member of the secure
development lifecycle, identify security design gaps in existing
and proposed vehicle and embedded architectures and recommend
balanced security enhancements.---Build relationships---with key
stakeholders throughout the company and Influence teams to develop
systems and processes with security best practices in mind---What
they will need:5+---years of experience in developing vehicle
system architecturesIn depth knowledge of automotive security
design and embedded security controlsIn depth knowledge of Embedded
Linux and Real time operating systemsHands on experience with
automotive security controls such as secure diagnostics, secure
programing, secure boot, and message authenticationExperience
developing security solutions to prevent, detect, and mitigate risk
in automotive systemsStrong knowledge of industry processes and
international regulationsDemonstrated ability---in carrying out
threat modeling and risk assessments to make data driven
recommendations and solutions around safety, security,
and---privacyExperience documenting architectural decisions,
developing vehicle security architecture standards, reference
architectures, strategies, and roadmapsOutstanding communication
and interpersonal abilities---An analytical mindset with excellent
organizational skills---Experience in working cross teams and
strong track record of collaboration with multiple teams and
stakeholdersProblem Solving/Critical thinking skills---Experience
with agile development methodologies and DevOps is a plus---This is
