Title : SAP Technical Developer
Location : 100% Remote
Duration : 12 months Contract to Hire

Job Description:
This position is a technical role and the primary responsibilities include developing SAP technical solutions to meet Clients business requirements, providing technical development support and assisting business and business analysts troubleshooting issues. This position requires a strong SAP development background with exposure to SAP S/4 HANA PS, SD, MM, FI/CO, GM/FM modules, EPPM, GTS, BW, BOBJ and Fiori.
This position will support the end-to-end development process from requirement gathering, solution design, technical documentation, issue analysis and troubleshooting, positive and regression testing.

Responsibilities:
Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support of an enterprise implementation of SAP functionality.
Work directly with SAP functional resources, business users, and system implementation partners to model, design, develop, test, and implement appropriate application solutions which may include any related or integrated modules and its team members.

Make recommendations to business and/or business analysts on technical solutions
Ensure adherence to product build schedules, release schedules, and project strategies.
Adhere to standard development techniques and procedures
Prepare, maintain, and keep updated IT/SAP procedures and documentation related to our processes and platforms operations.
Perform design and technical reviews of solutions proposed and/or developed by other developers.
Lead the development of technical documentation; create and maintain IT/SAP documentation to meet business goals and strategic objectives.
Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to solve problems and implement changes.
Troubleshoot and solve technical issues, identify and test needed modifications in existing custom solutions
Maintain a high level of knowledge in the field of new SAP development technologies and tools available
Assist in the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of the Enterprise Resource Planning programs and related systems.
Manage and support ticketing process for SAP enhancements and improvement opportunities

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related areas
Applicable professional certification with 2 - 5 years of progressive experience providing solutions to complex program/system problems in a business environment.

Skills and Attributes:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with an understanding of business functions and related technology products.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to plan, track and facilitate projects using applicable tools.
Good understanding of REST principles and experience working with and implementing backend APIs
Good understanding of SAP BTP Cloud technology
Strong time management and organization skills
Excellent documentation ability and detailed-oriented
Conceptual thinker and open to learn new technologies
Great team player
Ability to work and produce required results without close supervision
Strong work ethic and self-starting attitude
Good understanding of SAP security, integration, and S/4 Hana infrastructure
Professional development experience in S/4 HANA, FIORI, UI5
Technical knowledge in ABAP, BW, BOBJ, FIORI, UI5 and Adobe form required
Experience in deploying applications using microservices, container technologies would be a plus.
