If you want to be part of this important mission, we want to hear from you.The Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Team is looking for a talented, experienced Project Coordinator based in the United States. The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Site and Project Managers with design & construction activities in vendor coordination & oversight, equipment and supplies, occupancy services. Proactively develop and maintain client relationships ensuring that expected service levels are achieved. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, adjusting to changing priorities from various directives and will be able to communicate effectively. This position reports to the Director of Business Operations & Building Solutions.We're driving toward the ultimate victory: a world without the fear of cancer. The ideal candidate should have project coordination experience, understand varied cultures, be detail oriented innovator with a good working knowledge of current project management trends. A strong communicator that can work independently at all levels of the company while performing a full range of administration functions in a fast-paced environment.

Main Tasks:

• Actively support an environment of teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence, and personal success.
• Coordinate work orders in a timely manner, ensuring KPI compliance and excellent customer service.
• Identify opportunities for improved project coordination & excellence, making recommendations, conduct site inspections and assessments.
• Schedule and manage project work requests, tracking to completion.
• Provide information and direction to vendors, facilities staff and other service providers as required to ensure excellent coordination and execution of work, with minimal disruption.
• Assist in the procurement of vendors and services as required.
• Coordinate the delivery of site amenities which may include- transportation, support moves as required and act as the GWS PMO key point of contact.
• Provide coordination and support meetings and conferences as required.
• Other duties that may include but are not limited to- reception and guest support, mail and courier services, office supplies and equipment maintenance, landlord relations and management of building access passes, safety and security support.
• Update and maintain accurate records and official documentation for the site/s including web pages where any other activities to support GWS, including, but not limited to- moves/reconfigurations, events, reception, and building operations.Desirable
  • Prior experience in Project/Facilities/Property management preferred.
  • Understanding of basic technical aspects of Project Management.
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and effectively deal with stressful situations.
  • Self-motivated; confident, energetic and flexible.
  • Coordinate with administrative staff for proper documentation of the projects
  • Self-starter with eagerness to manage broad range responsibilities
  • Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word and MS ProjectQualifications:
    • 2-3 years of experience in commercial construction
    • BS/MS in Civil Engineering/Construction Management
    • Experience with project planning, construction, permitting and familiarity with construction contracts and subcontracts
