SAP North America Regional P&T CoE is responsible for demand generation and sales support for revenues for SAP Platform & Technology solutions for organizations in North America.

These solutions cover the business needs of CIO and other senior business/technical executives at our customers.

We're seeking a qualified business development representative (BDR) to expand our footprint through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships.

Moreover the employee is responsible for presenting the business value of:

SAP Business Technology Platform:

* Data Warehousing * Technology around S/4 Transformations * Analytics/Planning * Data Strategy/Migration/Integration/Value * Cloud Extension and Integration

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

* Generate new leads, action existing leads sourced from sales and marketing teams, and develop relationships in new territories to create pipeline and drive sales * Identify and contact decision-makers to qualify potential business opportunities * Engage directly with senior executives at both prospects & customers to drive sales of SAP's P&T solutions for both on-premise & cloud deployments * Meet regularly with SAP sales management to drive development of new business strategies based on market analysis & current trends * Business plan development, documentation, and communication * Present / demonstrate SAP P&T solutions capabilities, value proposition, key differentiators at senior executive levels and large audiences * Make use of best practices to create repeatable processes and content. * Support stand - alone sales opportunities for SAP P&T solutions to a 'select' stage

Work Experience, Skills & Competencies

* 5-7 years of professional experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations * Experience with business development, relationship building, opportunity discovery/development, opportunity qualification, pipeline development by working with solutions team * Self-starter, "Execution spirit" and entrepreneurial nature with a passion for new products and solutions; high level of energy and self-motivated * Strong organizational talents and ability to work under pressure and in new environments * Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation skills, and ability to express nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely to meet goals and set priorities * Strong business acumen

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field of study

Fluency in English, any other language an asset
