Business Summary
The CDTO/CIO Finance team is responsible for managing companys Digital Transformation and IT investments including Business Applications, Infrastructure, Security, Enterprise Data and Integration. Our goal is to help and enable the business to run and transform operational capabilities. We focus on investment prioritizations aligning to overall company vision and goals by driving optimization and return on investments. Our distributed team is located in United States, Costa Rica, and India.

Job Role & Responsibility
The role will work closely with the CDTO Strategy and Operations team on Digital Transformation Portfolio. This position will provide financial planning, analytics and reporting on investments. The right individual for this role is a proven strategic financial professional with a passion towards operational excellence, great attention to detail, and will continuously drive process improvement. This role will report to Finance Director based in Palo Alto, CA.

Core Responsibilities:

CDTO Portfolio Strategic Planning. Collaborate with Strategy and Operations to drive investments that enable and scale SaaS/Cloud growth with platform and data transformation. Assess cost and benefits that inform prioritization decisions and long-term impact.

Portfolio Investment and Financial Management. Manage the Annual Operating Plan, optimizing a balanced funding leverage of CAPEX/OPEX. Operationalize with CDTO Operations, Business stakeholders and Finance/Accounting to execute, govern, and track against AOP. Provide responsible and accurate financial analysis and status. Manage monthly forecast, close and variance analyses.

Program Performance Measurement. Develop key performance indicators that will provide assessment of investment effectiveness and provide insights for management decision. Analyze and report on ongoing impact from program investments.

Process Improvements and Reporting Standardization. Drive cross functional improvement on business planning, forecasting and month end close process. Work with Business and Data Intelligence team to define and design dashboards that provide holistic and dynamic views with data integrity.

Management Communication. Prepare presentation and reporting materials for quarterly business reviews, planning reviews and upper management meetings

Required Skills

8-12 years experience in an FP&A role with strong business partnership skills

Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Hyperion Planning / Reporting, and BI tools strong planning and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Self-starter with unquestionable integrity, who can take charge of complex tasks with minimal direction and develop new strategies and new ways of approaching business challenges independently

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence / drive change across functional and business boundaries

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

B.A. or B.S. in Finance

Strong attention to detail. Process creation and implementation

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong FP&A background and modeling experience

Preferred Skills

Experience in a Sales Finance organization in a high tech or SaaS company

MBA or CPA

A drive to succeed and a proven ability to be resilient and overcome challenges

Tons of energy, passion, humor, and enthusiasm

A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals, and achieving success

Experience using Oracle applications and SAP tools
