OPPORTUNITY

The Global Field Onboarding team is looking for a dynamic program manager to lead START, our onboarding program for customer facing roles, in the the Americas region. We are seeking a program manager who will innovate and successfully deliver an industry leading program for our new hire community.

With rich experience in learning and development, ideally focused on field enablement, you will have the opportunity to continuously improve the program while collaboratively creating an effective, globally consistent onboarding experience for VMware customer facing roles.

A proven track record of program management and attention to detail will ensure Global Field Onboarding program maintains a user-focus in creating a world class experience for our new hires.

An engaging presence coupled with impeccable facilitation skills will support your success in hosting sessions, and interfacing with new hires, field stakeholders, and hiring managers

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver new hire onboarding sessions with continuous program innovation and collaboration across the business

Partner with multiple internal departments and cross functional teams to coordinate and align with existing new employee programs

Collaborate across a wide variety of people, partners, and organizations to ensure an overall successful delivery of every session.

Engage with technology leaders, subject matter experts and other onboarding team members to design, develop and improve the onboarding experience in a compelling and impactful way to assure new hire productivity

Planning, forecasting and management of a full lifecycle fiscal budget for onboarding programs

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelors degree or equivalent required

7+ year in a Sales Enablement role

Experience developing sales enablement programs with proven success across field sales, services and technical roles

Experience implementing programs successfully in sometimes ambiguous and fast-moving environments

Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

Project management detailed mentality with a strong process driven orientation

Understanding of sales training methodologies and best practices

Ability to multi-task in a high-volume fast-paced environment where change is constant

Ability to problem solve and think on your feet

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Adaptable, dependable and flexible to changing business requirements and creative solutioning
